MINISTRIES

STATEMENT OF STRATEGY AND PURPOSE FOR MINISTRY
We believe that God calls us to wholeness in body, mind and spirit. We commit ourselves to ministering to the whole person by: Vital joy-filled worship where everyone is welcomed. We offer opportunities for all ages to grow in faith through Christian Education, short term classes, workshops and spiritual growth seminars.

Our purpose is to be a vital, open and diverse community of faith where all people can grow in faith, discover their gifts and graces for ministry, and find opportunities to live out that faith in hands on ways. We seek to be a community center where lives are changed and individuals find meaning for their lives. We seek also to be a vital part of the Collister community in providing assistance to those in need, and offering our selves as God’s people in mission and ministry.

At Collister United Methodist Church, we occasionally have photos and videos being taken of events to celebrate the moments. Photography, videography, and live streaming through zoom may be occurring during services, ministry projects, fellowship time, small groups and events. These are often used, but not limited to, printed and electronic materials and digital/social media. While we reserve the right to record and photograph events, services, etc., we strive to use them in safe and positive outlets. We will endeavor by default not to show faces of any kids or adults without verbal permission and if you need further precaution please speak to on one of our pastors. Please understand that we cannot remove your image from live streaming events but recording of that video is never publish afterwards.
