SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY

Join us for a 13-week Bible study through the book of Matthew beginning January 11, 2026. Together we’ll walk through two to three chapters each week,
taking time to focus on a key section from each passage.
Our goal is simple: to see Jesus clearly. Each week we’ll focus on one guiding question--
What do we learn about who Jesus is through what he does, says and models?
We’ll ground ourselves in Scripture, so that we can better recognize the difference between the Jesus we meet in the Gospels and false versions presented in culture. This study offers space to slow down, observe the text carefully, and strengthen our understanding
of the good news Matthew proclaims.
Whether you’re familiar with Matthew or reading it closely for the first time, you’re invited to join the conversation. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and
grow alongside others who want to follow Jesus.

At Collister United Methodist Church, we occasionally have photos and videos being taken of events to celebrate the moments. Photography, videography, and live streaming through zoom may be occurring during services, ministry projects, fellowship time, small groups and events. These are often used, but not limited to, printed and electronic materials and digital/social media. While we reserve the right to record and photograph events, services, etc., we strive to use them in safe and positive outlets. We will endeavor by default not to show faces of any kids or adults without verbal permission and if you need further precaution please speak to on one of our pastors. Please understand that we cannot remove your image from live streaming events but recording of that video is never publish afterwards.
